This year we spent the 4th of July celebrating with our neighbors. I wasn't initially thrilled to be missing the fireworks (they are illegal in El Dorado County) or to miss spending the day with my parents but I ended up having a great time and as you can see so did Brian and the boys.

We had a water "feature" in our front yard. All of the kids loved it and if you can tell, Grayson was beside himself. We barely pulled him away to eat.
Hudson on the other hand was quite happy off to the side, dry.
